Hiking stick part number needed....HELP

I bought an original black aluminum stock hiking stick off of a 70's Hobie 16 on eBay. The seller didn't package it properly and it arrived damaged by Fed Ex. I called Fed Ex and to file a claim I need a part number for this hiking stick. I can't find one. Can anyone help me?

The aluminum stick hasn't been made since the mid-70's. There is no current part number.

You could use the part number for the fiberglass one. If they're going to buy you one, you might as well get a new one.

If they're going to buy you a new one they might as well buy you a hotstick. Counter the impending lawsuit from your heartache and pain from loosing your vintage tiller extension.

I doubt they will buy me a new one. The one I got on eBay was $21.50. New ones are much more, but of course you can get extendable ones.

Right now I am still exploring all of my options.

I bought an Aluminum Hiking stick from Hobie a few months ago. It's not black, they only come in silver. It was $58.40. Page 23 in the Hobie catalog. There are a few different sizes. I bought the 42"-96" since that had the widest extension range. Part number 3203. I would try to get Fed Ex to cover it.

He has a broken original stock stick, which is non-extendable. It's just an aluminum tube about six feet long.

Actually I have two options now. My husband says he can probably straighten it with the right tool. Or, I can have him saw it off and have a shorter stick. I would have to cut about two feet off making a four foot stick. The latter option might be better because those sticks are way too long. We don't trapeeze much.
