Rudder drilling template

The Aussies have a new template for drilling the EPO 2s. How can I get a copy of that new template?

(For those of you reading this who may not know, it involves grinding the lower, curved part of the upper rudder casting.)

Yes. All of the boats in Fiji were awesome.

The weather helm was pretty much non-existent. There was one boat (#33) that had tremendous leeward helm -- I gybed once in the middle of the course when I didn't want to because that is the way the rudders wanted to go!!! But other than that one, all of them had very, very light helm.

It is the same template used on the 2004 Worlds boats in Mexico too. Somehow the factory here quit using it / misplaced it.

I don't have the template at the moment, but had been trying to identify the rake measurements with Steve in Australia.

By the sounds of it, it would be worthwhile putting in up in pdf on the site.

The idea of posting it on the website has merit -- though I am not sure if downloading it and printing it could compromise the scale.

Years ago when I reglassed an '84 H16, I saw hull profiles which were used to make sure the shape of the bottom did not change. On the profile was a scale (essentially a ruler) to assure accurate size when copied to a cardboard template. This could be placed on the rudder template to assure that the printed size was accurate.

Ironically the '84 H16 (11 years old when I bought it)which needed reglassing came with beach wheels while my '94 (16 years old when I bought it) didn't have wheels but the bottoms were near perfect.
