Hi people!!! Happy Holidays!

I need to order new sails but cant figure out what is available. The local dealer hasnt been able to provide me with the needed info to make a decision.

The web site shows the Coronado and the Smoke but Ive seen these color combos since the begining of 2007...any new colors for 2008?

Also how would one coordinate to order a custom sail color (solid) , either in the current color cloth being used for the Coronado or Smoke or in another color thats not being used in production right now?

who do I figure this out?

thanks!

I sent a picture to my dealer and Hobie made the sails as close to the picture as they could. The sails were much nicer than the originals, windows, telltails, batten pocket protection, etc. Cost about $1100 for the main.

Those are the 2008 sail colors there will be no changes.

You can have and color combination you wish using the current sail colors.

There may be some loft over colors from years past, your dealer would need to contact the factory and see whats available.

Custom sails usually take 4-6 to ship from the factory.

thanks!

Is there anyway to see the red, blue and yellow colors currently being used in samples?

Or up close pics that anyone can post so I can decide and see how rich/vivid/tones are the colors?

thanks again...

Your dealer can have the factory send a sample, scrap, of cloth if any are available. Ask them to do it on there next order, thanks for reminding me I need to get some of the current colors in the shop to show people as well.

On a side note, I've got a container going out of FL at the end of January to St. Thomas, USVI. We can work it out for you to have your sails on that container, and shipping will be dirt cheap (or even free maybe...). Get in touch with Brad @ www.sunjammers.com , as he's dropping some stuff off for me to go into the container.

You can sail over to St. T, and then sail back with your new sails...
