I was just thinking, are there any h16 models or toys? I think it would be cool to have something like that around the house.. doesn't need to be a major art piece or anything, just something neat to have. Not looking for R/C...

Dumas (sp) has a model sailing kit you can buy, which you can actually put in the water and free sail. There was also a hobiecat plastic model for matel for the barby doll stuff. I also know there is a wooden kit available somewhere.

Model airplane ply, boxwood stock, brass aero stock - make your own! Would be awesome.

Oh and the Barbie one is a collectors item, a Hobie 14, and PINK with FLOWERS. Just sayin...

I built this one when I was a kid and actually sailed it around the pond quite a bit. Almost a lot of fun.

Playmobil had a catamaran too - product number 3183. It's discontinued now but you can still find them on Ebay and whatnot. It's functional in water.
