So I'm removing layers and layers of paint from my 'cat... and hulls are looking pretty good.... wet sanded, etc etc....

Except for the no-skid surface on top of the hulls... I've got all the old paint out, but I don't want to wet sand this area, use rubbing compound or wax for fear of losing the no-slip surface... or just making it too slippery...

What do I do to make it clean and fresh looking while keeping no-slip?

Thanks much![/img]

use bon-ami with a scrub brush, then get a bottle of "woody wax" and follow the directions on the bottle.. it looks awesome afterwards, and dirt/bird crap/etc will literally just hose off after you apply the stuff.

I use a brush as people have said, then buff it. Go easy on the decks.
