 Post subject: rudder identification

Location: Virginia Beach VA
I sheared my starboard rudder yesterday. I have another set of rudders though. Should I replace just the broken one or in pairs? The replacement rudders have an "M" embossed between the holes and also the letters "XX1" and "AH". Anyone have a clue what these rudders are made of?
