Hobie makes a 6:1 downhaul kit that works great.

I'm pretty happy with the 3:1 that the newer boats came stock with. It;s like $20 at the dealer. Right now, I'm so new to catamaran sailing that the downhaul is the least of my worries, so I went cheap.

I am with X-troll, I just took an old jib sheet block shakeled it to the little loop on the gooseneck and a slide in cleat and there you have a 5:1. Maybe someday I will need to adjust it while out on the water, but for now it is just fine.
