I would like to purchase a fish finder (Hummingbird) with forward facing sonar... Has anyone installed a unit like this on their mirage outback with the bottom plate? Please advise if you have experience in this area... Thanks

Like Livescope? If so it doesn’t go into the standard transducer pocket.
