We have been given two 2013 Hobie Mirage Outback's from my elderly father in law.
We prefer to store them right side up for ease of use with grandkids in mind.
We understand not to store them on the Hobie wheels.
We bought the C-tug with rails for easier walk to the water.
Pretty sure they are also not a way of storing the kayak when not in use.
I understand too that the strength is in the rails.
So what up right storage solution have you used?
Are cradles a good option?

Really appreciate your input, perhaps photos as well.

Sorry for the late response, but I just saw your post on the Hobie forum (been tied up moving these past 4 months so missed it) and would like to share my experience. For me, garage floor/wall space is at a premium and I found some 10 years ago that a good (and safe with adequate support) way to stow our 2 Hobies is to use the Harken Hoister. Harken is well know in the sailing community and makes bullet-proof stuff. Attached is a pic of our 2 Hobies in our current garage - both lifted above head and car level ... and which don’t take up any floor or wall space. A one-hand lift operation and it greatly eases putting the kayaks onto my kayak cart OR trailer. I did replace Harken’s narrow nylon strap with a wider tow strap piece I got from Tractor Supply. System has worked great in our last 3 houses, and each move over these past 10 years I've taken down everything and re-installed in our new place). Take care and hope this is useful.
