Hello, I am new to this forum and I am hoping that I can find some help
Over this past winter, I purchased a rudder string replacement kit from the only Hobie dealer in British Columbia Canada
The service department at the store was not familiar with this year and model of string replacement
I do not live close to the dealership so will need to replace the strings myself
I was hoping to find a DIY video on YouTube
A waste of time
I could not find any video with the year, 2016, and my model, Outback, that showed what I needed to learn
I am a certified electrician, and I am fairly mechanically competent
The string replacement looked very complex with a lot of devices, not visible
I purchased a string kit that I guess was universal with four sets of tubes with strings and extra string
We ended up not replacing any of the strings because of the chance of rendering the kayak useless
I am helping someone on here has done this job and can send me a link
