Hi all. My upper seat posts have cracked similar to others it seems. I have sent all my info and pics to dealer but its been almost 3 weeks and they have not heard back from Hobie. I am curious how long this normally takes as I am not comfortable fishing from it again until I at least know whats going to happen. Thanks everybody.

Warranty response to dealers is really quick. Usually 1 or 2 days maximum. Have the dealer contact us. They likely missed an email sent from our system.

Turn out I forgot about the last reply. This was the last thing I heard from dealer: "Unfortunately, I haven't heard back yet. I answered a few of their preliminary questions and have followed up. On 6/16, I submitted a claim through the dealer website in hopes that it would get into the right hands quicker." That was a week ago. Maybe just a backlog? Only asking because I'm dying to know what the verdict is and get back out on the water!

What dealer? There is no backlog of claim responses.

On the first pass, I found no claim for that dealer. I just looked again. Looks like they used an account for the chain.

CCMP6103C919?

Claim dated June 16th, Approved June 16th. Including a replacement Mat Kit.

That's the one! Thank you so much Matt. And the replacement of the mat kit..... I can't say enough about how that is above and beyond to me. I really appreciate it.

I will get in touch with the dealer for an ETA.
