Got a couple big bubbles in the deck pad and response from Hobie was I should be able to put an invisible hole in it to let the air out. No hole is invisible and seems like I would be opening up a passage for air and water to get in it it doesn’t adhere back down. Anyone else have to do this yet?

I've done this with similar pads (not my Lynx) and it works fine. Pop the bubble with a pin and squeeze the air out. The adhesive on the back will hold the pad to the deck once the bubble is gone.

Use a straight pin. It wont ause a problem. Mine went away when I left it in the sun a little while and rubbed them out.
