My modifications to Hobie Lynx. I installed the Lynx H rails, H rails from a newer Outback, using only one rail across the bow. Length was cut down so as to screw into two of the four preset holes. I did this to mount a rod holder and stow my paddle under it. I used two tie wraps as loops to make it easier to secure/remove the rear seat to the kayak. Attached a loop using stretch cord to secure my rudder to the rudder cables, I got tired of removing the rudder after every trip, this way the wind will not blow it around. Lastly I purchased a seat riser kit from a cool guy in Navarre Beach, raised the front one inch, the the rear one and half inches. I am selling the 180 drive that came with it, never used as I use the Hobie with kick up fins.

Tell us your modifications.

Why is it you don't like the 180 drive?
Is it just that you already had a non-reversable drive and were fine without the reversing feature?

Probably easiest way to do it is to open a free account at this site https://postimg.cc . Your pictures can be uploaded to this site. You then click on the pic and click share, then click on Hotlink For Forums and paste that into the post here.

Already have a drive with kick up fins. No need for 180 drive so I sold it unused to someone else that needs it.

Why is this site so difficult to post pictures? I belong to other forums and all of them are easy.
