Hobie class Legal Sails?

Are there any updates on when and where we can purchase new sails that are class legal?

If you are asking about 14, 16, 18 or wave, you can purchase them from any Hobie Cat sailboat dealer. If what you are looking for is not in stock you have to order it through the dealer.

Ok so you are looking for H18 sails, that's helpful. You are looking at the website for a single dealer and assuming incorrectly that applies to the entire company! Hobie Cat Company is not holding H18 sails in stock as the sales volume is low for that product. It's a build to order item. You need to place an order with a dealer and wait for them to build it.

Alternatively you can try finding a dealer that has a set in stock. The dealer in Harvey Cedars, NJ had a brand set of H18 sails the last time I was there in June. I would also suggest you are going to have better luck picking up the phone vs. trying to search online. Most dealers do not have their entire inventory online.

You assumed I only looked at one dealer. I assumed the 3 West Coast Hobie dealer websites reflected the actual status. Only one stated the pasted verbage referenced above. The other two did not even list the H18 sails as an available item, let alone a special order. At least the dealer you referenced in New Jersey stated "Call to Order".

I must have missed a memo telling us that H18 sails were back in production.
