What kind (brand) of wind vane works well on a H14T with a roller furling, and where is the best place to mount one?

I have a wind indicator that came on my used 14T. I think it's a Hobie part. It is a red plastic flag on a piece of stiff wire with a plastic block on the end, which clips into the bars that extend from the jib furler. The flag is thus held out in front of and below the jib furler. If you need a source other than your dealer, call Woody at Sailboats of Bakersfield (CA). He used to own my boat and is extremely knowledgeable.
Happy sailing!

i only have had this one so i cant compare, but i have the Telocat Davis Vane. its like $28 at west marine or your local HC retailer. i like it alot. never had any problems with it. works in light wind as well as heavy weather. forget to hose it down after saltwater sometimes and its still fine. would reccomend. i know theres a way to mount it on the furling bridle piece because ive seen it before, but i didnt pay much attention since ive got a non turbo myself. the H14 CE...

The TeloCat is the way to go. I have one on my Hobie 17. The Hobie 18 adapter should work on yours, as it fit mine OK. It bolts to the pins that hold the bridle wire to the furler. They are a little fragile, so put them in a safe place when you take them off. Also super glue the angle indicators in position and the base, as the screw strips real easy.
