Just thought I would share an idea that worked for me. I had been struggling to remove the foam padding from the rails of my Son's turbo 14. Anyone who has tried this knows what a pain it is. I tried the heat gun, the goo gone, etc. They all stunk. I wanted to scrape/ cut it off but was afraid to damage the rail. One day my wife bought a "salad knife." It is a plastic serrated knife used to cut lettuce. Eureka I thought. I went out and used the knife in a slicing motion on the foam. It sliced off easily. The whole rail took less than 10 minutes. Down side? Ruined the knife. The plastic wears down quickly. The my wife went to cut the salad....I was in trouble. These knives can be bought on EBay for around $2 a piece. You will need 1 for each rail and a spare to replace your wife's. Any way I stripped both rails in less than 20 minutes. Just worked out to well to keep to my self.
