There was a proposal for a worlds in the Netherlands, but it hasn't been approved yet.

Cool, I hope that the world take place, I can get to the Netherlands fairly easily. Where can I find out about the progress of the proposal?

I would start out with the European Hobie Class Association:

I can't find any mention of the event - the proposal may have been withdrawn or rejected.
