I am of thinking of selling my hobie 14T. it is a 70's model. i think. hulls are sound, new whirlwind jib, main is good. hotstick tiller. the problem is that i also have an extra 14 uni except for the hulls (and i have them, if someone wants to build a boat). i bought 2 to make 1 as the other hulls were delaminated badly and i tried to repair. i have a new trailer, but wont sell it cheap. i can use it for another boat. can anyone help with a fair price?

Thanks,

Mike

Do you still have the tramp for the other H14 that you scrapped? I need a knew one but don't want to spend a bundle. If so will you ship it to me. I'll cover the shipping.

Do you have a dolphin striker and the upper swivel forestay for a turbo 14?
Thanks,
Mike

I have sold two complete 14s in the last year on Ebay, and both times I sold each part separately. I raised approximately twice what I might have got as a good price for a complete boat. Sure, it seems like a risk, but I sold absolutely everything. The trailer was the biggest thing, cause like you I was not going to give it away, and someone bought it to modify for another boat, as obviously there must be too many H14 trailers around, or folks have no real idea what they are worth. I did get caught first time with the trailer, and it went very cheap. But the second time I put a very high starting price.
