My brother and I went out in some good winds yesterday and fooled around. We kept submarining my 14... the bows would dig under and then the whole boat (hulls and tramp) would go under, but if we had the weight right and then shifted our weight rear-ward, it wouldn't continue pitch-polling. The bows just pop right back out of the water. It's a blast, and a great way to cool off when the ambient temp is approaching 105 f!
FYI - I've got a custom flat-top mylar main, with crappy jib, and no traps. I also run my mast less raked and not as loose as reccomended... I usually don't have much wind on my lake.
