Hey sports fans!!

Here's it all shaked out:

1. Bob Curry, 12 points.
2. Bill Jeffers, 27 pts.
3. Matt Bounds, 34 pts.
4. Mark Ralph, 73 pts.
5. Herb James, 75 pts.
Watch the 14 Nationals website for more pics and the entire results. The winds on Friday were in the 18-30 range and made for some very interesting sailing conditions. Saturday saw a return to 4-8kts and Sunday ended with superb 14 sailing conditions of 6-12kts. Hats off to Chris Wessels and the entire croud at the Clear Lake Yacht Club for putting on a fantastic regatta. :D 35 boats on the starting line; WAHOO! 8)

TTFN,
Bob

Chris Wessels and everyone in Div. 7 did an assume job.
They are a great group of people that worked together to put on a excellent event.
The ladies in the fleet cooked for us constantly. The yacht club is a great facility on the water in front of a narrow sand beach.
This was a unique event. They awarded the Carlton Tucker award to Todd Wilson from the local fleet. They started by having a few of the guys in the fleet roast him. He had no idea that in the end that Matt Bounds and Chris were going to present him the award. The look on his face of absolute shock and appreciation was worth the trip.
Clear lake is as home town USA as it gets. I really enjoyed meeting some new people and having the chance to race against some guys that were around at the beginning when fleet 10 was formed on some original stock 14's and also with Bob Curry, a World and National Champion on the boat. He sure is fast.
Thanks again to Div 7.

Congratulations Bob.
