Hi I have a H14T that I am getting back on the water after 15 years of raising my son. I am so excited. My biggest concern was having it turtle because I push it to it's limits and it always turtles. I got lucky and found a used baby bob for $45.00 ! Now I feel like I can really go out and push her! My Turbo is an '84 with white hulls, Epo rudders and Harken 7:1. She is real scratched up from heavy sailing way back, but I see it as very fun old battle scars. Hope to meet other Hobie sailors in my area and start a new Fleet. I was with Fleet 15 Channel Islands, but it died out long ago. Drop me a line if you are in the same area and want to start a new fleet, Thanks!

Where'd you get a used baby bob for $45??
Please don't tell me its local. No one in the Bay Area seems to believe in them. And I've just been lucky with capsizes on the Hobies so far. One of these days, my 14's mast is gonna get stuck in teh mud at lexington.

You won't believe it, I did a search for a Hobie Baby Bob and some guys msn web space came up and he was selling it. It was listed way back in June. I bought it about 3 weeks ago. I had it shippied form Colorado. It is perfect. I live 30 minutes from Murrays and drive up and get my parts, yeah I know I'm so spoiled..... My husband is going to create a way to Quick pin it on and off so I don't have to leave it on all the time, it would be ripped off for sure. Take care!
