Hi, I just saw some plans on the Beachcat website for Hobie 14 wings. Has anybody modified their 14 with wings? Pros? Cons? It seems like they might make it a bit more comfortable, but would sitting on a wing throw off the boat's balance? I suppose that would depend on the strength of the wind.

Any comments/ideas/experience re. wings on a 14? Thanks.

I would say you could comfortable sail a 14 while sitting on the wing. If you weighed in at 80 lbs. Any more than that, and you'll die.

You know what WOULD be kinda cool? You know those back rests the Waves sometimes have? They might be okay if you're heavy and not in need of trapping out.
