Just bought the boys a boat that has been sitting on the farm for several years. Upon opening the storage box, discovered the field mice had one heck of a nest going. The only thing they chewed on was the main sheet and the best trapeze harness. I don't know if from the mice turds or because there had been moisture in their (evident from mildew stains on two other harnesses) but everything has a pungent odor.
Maybe I should have searched for the "Hints from Heloise" forum, but I figured this has somebody has had this problem in the past. My big concern is with the Murray's harness, it's the full type with 1/2" padding inside. Certainly the material is strong enough for the washing machine, but worried about the padding.
Suggestions?
