LOL! That was great! Reminds me of the time I capsized my 16 sailing solo in the fall some years ago. County Sheriff showed up but
refused to help me because I wouldn't put my PFD on! I swear this is true! I was wearing a full-length wetsuit, but that didn't seem to impress him, so I told him to just F.O. A few minutes later, some sensible, sympathetic fishermen came over to assist me. Kinda makes you wonder what the point of any regulations are. I'd been treading water in the wetsuit for at least ten minutes before the Sheriff even showed up! I only wish he'd gotten close enough that I could have read his badge number so I could have reported him. Then again, I challenged him to come closer so I
could read his damned badge number, so he was at least
that smart. If I didn't have Adult ADHD, I'd have looked it up and reported him. (I use an electric trolling motor with my Cheata Mount, so maybe they'd expect me to carry baking soda in case of...???!!!)
