I thought some of you might be interested in a swim ladder I designed for my Getaway. I wanted something that would not take up any room or get in the way. This is the result. It folds up under the wing seat when not in use.

Awesome! Nice work.

I just got my Getaway this year. Had a great first season and learned a lot. I guess I have to put it away for the winter now, but I can't wait for spring.

How is it attached to the wing?

I wish I had taken a picture of the bottom before I shrink-wrapped the boat. Two "U" shaped pieces of aluminum are attached to the bottom of the wing, with the center of the "U" screwed to the wing and the two ears pointing down. The two vertical poles fit into the ears and a screw goes through the ears and poles so that the poles can swing back and forth. I'll post some more detailed pictures in the spring when the shrink wrap comes off.

Next time I go to the boat I'll try to get some pictures. I don't normally shrink wrap the boat for winter, just remove the tramps. But I will be taking the boat to Florida in February and the thought of putting the tramps back on in 25 degrees and 0 wind chill was not something I wanted to do.
