Not sure how your trailer is made but it may not be the mast support that is swaying but the square tongue itself the mast support is attached to. On mine and a friends trailer the tongue goes back to the trailer frame where it is bolted but due to production variances it is not a tight fit and when you move the mast support from side to side you can see where the tongue rotates back and forth slightly. The slight movement of the tongue isn't much but when you extend that movement into the height of the mast support it become 4-5 inches. The swaying mast support bothered him and he went to a welding shop and had them put a weld around the area where the tongue entered the frame and now he has no more sway, for me I left mine the way it was.

Have you tried straps from the spreader bar/bow areas up to the top of the mast support to try to stop the sway?

Going to try the straps from the top of the support to the trailer frame just below the spreader bars.
I will update the forum when I arrive at the Cape tomorrow.

Thank you for all of the feedback.

Bill

Great news. 2 straps from the mast support connected to the trailer (at left and right front roller) helped significantly. The trailer tracked great and only intermittently had the sway. 90% improvement.
Thanks everyone for their support!

Regards,
Bill
