 Post subject: Is mast rake too much?

Thanks to this group, I'm now having a great time with my Getaway. But I'm concerned that my mast tilts too far to stern. Here's two pictures. Is the mast tilted too much? If so, roughly how much more vertical should it be?

It depends on the conditions you are sailing with. It is not excessive. I keep mine at about the same rake, for the higher winds I can see in the afternoon. It seemed a bit much for me in the beginning.
