interesting story.....

I get "oh you live in Florida the weather must be great", this morning we had frost on the boats when we set up, not great, miserably cold still in the 30's!

I frequent a Catalina 25 Association forum, it is very active with 20-50 posts a day. There is a lot to talk about with old fiberglass boats that are sailed in wildly varied conditions and locals. One design boats by their nature do not lend themselves to clever mods and creative solutions. While our Getaways are not one designs per se they certainly have a very limited capacity for changes, hence not much to talk about. I have been disappointed in the lack of responses from Matt when people ask specific questions about carrying capacities, strength of the forward tramp, and other questions which no doubt the Hobie lawyers want him to avoid but that is the character of a corporate supported forum. Matt has to be careful not to create "perceived" warranty issues.
So anyway, I think one of the best things people could do to increase posting for our boats would be to post more photos, not just of our boats but of venues.

... and remember we sail the "Vespas" of catamarans, technologically very sophisticated but not the boats that make legends of their skippers.

65 yesterday, 44 today time to work on the travel trailer.
