GETAWAY PRICE...HELP

LOOKING TO BUY A NEW GETAWAY, JUST SOLD MY 21SC. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE TO GET A GOOD DEAL? LOOKING FOR WINGS AND A TRAILER. I SAW THAT cbjr0256 SEEMED TO BUY HIS RIGHT.ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.

I bought my Getaway at a local dealer. I searched all over for the best prices and found a local dealer with the same price as everyone else. It seems that most of the hobie dealers all have the same pricing. What you get the deal on is customer service and locality. If you save a hundred dollars on a hobie but you have to drive 10 hours to get there it doesn't seem that great. Also, if you have any problems with your new hobie, you don't have far to travel for help.

I disagree - prices do vary. I have been quoted a getaway w/wings from $6500 to $8500 - depending only on the dealer. New trailers seem to be fixed at an even $1000, and used from $0 to $500. I am aware of one used getaway 2003 w/trailer and w/wings that was sold for $5500.
