Front Crossbeam holding screws have loose washers

Front crossbeam holding screws. I have an small gap between the hulls and the washer (washer can wiggle). I can not tighten further. Is there supposed to be a "stop" built into the back side of the bedded nuts? Should I add another washer? Should I try to drill out the stops-I can't really see into the holes (both sides have some looseness? I should mention that the front trampoline fits snug and that the other crossbeams are tight.

That is the screw on the outboard ends of the forward-most beam? Not a problem. Just a safety keeper in case the bows get forced apart. The trampolines hold the Wave and Getaway together primarily.

That screw threads into a Delrin block.

OK, thanks, I won't worry. Did you put the block of delrin there to keep the inside of the beam dry or was it just a convenient way to bed the nut?

The block is rectangle, riveted to the inside of the crossbar and acts as a "nut" for the bolt. It does not seal the beam.
