I have a Getaway on a lake in Minnesota. I drag it about 30 feet across sand and then grass to store it every weekend during the summer.

Will this damage the hulls over time? They seem pretty bombproof and I have not noticed damage yet.

Sand and grass won't hurt it at all. Rocks may scratch a little but you would still be ok. The worst thing would be the sun. Try to keep the hulls and the tramp covered or at least in the shade.

Still... dragging is a pain. Maybe get some cat wheels for it?

I wouldn't consider dragging a Wave let alone a Getaway. Get some wheels and simplify everything.
