Elite E-propulsion outboard suitability?

Gday. I'm looking at this motor as an option. Interested to know if anyone has bought one and how it went. I only need t for getting out of crowded marinas and to get me a couple miles when the wind dies out. I had a 4 str Honda 2 hp but they are heavy and noisy. This one is under $1000 US (approx $1700 AUD for me) Here's link to the motor. All thoughts appreciated.

I have a Torqeedo 1000W, it's plenty powerful for open water and against tides and current. I usually run it no more than half power, so I'd say 500W would be perfect for your use.
If I were buying a new electric, I'd most likely get an epropulsion. I think it's much better than the Torqeedo, but I bought mine 13 years ago.

Update on this. The Elite does a great job of getting us out of the marina. We only used half power and put the sail up when head to wind on the way out. We did that, then when the wind was a little light, we used it again for around 15-20mins 1/4-1/2 power, then used later to get back through the twisty bits in the marina. At the end of the day we still had 80% power. Love the light weight and the quiet operation. See what happens next time.
