Extra stuff

I am heading out to sail in Green Bay for a week and there is no dealer or store nearby if I need supplies. Any recommendations on extra stuff to bring? I have a collection of pins, rings, and lines.

470, 08 Getaway

Too bad, we probably missed you. Will be traveling up the peninsula this coming week. Going to sail about in Eagle Harbor (outside of Ephriam in Door County).

How was your sailing?

Hey if you want we could get together and race or just cruise around sometime. Ive never been to door county and would love to have a tour guide/racing enemy hehe. Where do you sail out of? Do you beach launch or use a boat landing in Milwaukee? Or do you mostly go to smaller lakes?

470, 08 Getaway

Hey guys, thanks for the responses. The winds were not favorable this week up in Egg Harbor but that's life.

As for getting together to sail, I typically sail out in Lake Pewaukee but this year keep the boat at the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center and so get out on the big lake. I noticed that there is another Getaway there. Is that yours?

Ikeep my getaway in sheboygan. Theres another getaway in miltown? So thats 3 in the somewhat close area.

Well, had a couple of nice days sailing up a bit north of Egg Harbor in Ephraim this past week. Nice to finally get out on some slightly bigger water and be able to cruise a bit as opposed to constantly tacking in shifting winds on the small lakes around me. Oh well. It's still not going to stop me!
