Hi Guys,

I am a newbie in the sailing world :)
I ordered a new sail and battens from SLO Sail & Canvas as the old hobie I bought needed a replacement. Battens arrived with no caps, they only have 2 holes at the end. Should I install them without the caps or it's not suggested?

Thx a lot

You'd have to ask SLO for their recommended installation since this was not a Hobie made product. I wouldn't know what they sent you or what is intended. My guess is that the holes will be what they expect you to leace through. Seems kinda weak. The lines will likely chafe on the battens that way.
