Just got my new wave.

And not many trips on it but I noticed my new wetsuit getting ripped.

After putting it away today I noticed my tramp tention wite have a sharp metal piece sticking out next to the metal hanger the goes onto the tension track.

What is the best way to remove it? Was thinking tape.

Just odd that it's already frayed.

New boat? Speak to your dealer about it.

Photos via email can be enough for them to generate a warranty claim. No travel required.

You are good to sail (tape it for safety), but it would be nice if we replaced the wire for you if deemed defective.

Tramp wire?? Newer club boats, if I'm not mistaken, don't have any wire in or on the tramp. The Classic model (not made anymore, I believe) has a wire along each of the hulls that attach the tramp to the hulls via hooks on the hulls. If thats the case is this an old stock new boat?? If given the option. I would have gone with the newer club model. No wires and easier to mod. ex. adding traveler and having a tighter tramp.

Classic is still offered. Best for those that want to dis-assemble the boat for transport or storage. The hooks slide into the club tramp tracks.
