Hi all,
Got brand new Wave, assambled it as per manual, after installing 2 side shrods and raing the mast it's just impossibe to install the forestay into the adjuster. It feels like it's too short and I missing like 5 Cm of length.
All cables, hrouds, brides re correct, it's just the middle firsestay coming down from the mast cat reach into the adjuster.
Any ideas? Maybe use carabiners as an extension?

Dan.

Possibly a silly question, but which hole do you have the shrouds in on either side? IIRC mine are on about the 3rd or 4th hole from the bottom to start with, then I lower them down after I've rigged the forestay.

My side shrouds are in ths 1st hole (upper ones). I understand that all the wires are new, tight and supposed to be hard to install but the front forestay is just impossible. I extended it with 2 carabiners for now, hoping the forestay will get long with time.

Check shroud, forestay, and bridle wire lengths vs. the Hobie wire guide. https://media.hobie.com/2010_archive/support/pdfs/WireGuide.pdf

Comptip fully inserted into the lower mast?

Do you have the shrouds with the pin in the top hole of the adjuster to start with?

Use a 10-hole adjuster for the forestay.
