Here in Southern California, I get to sail all year long....but dang! The ocean water gets cold (in the 50's).
When the wind is mellow and I'm not hiked out, I like laying in the trampoline, comfortable like.
That cold water splashes up from below, soaks my backside, and then I'm shivering.
I decided to buy a rubber yoga mat (Target: $15). Man o man, it works GREAT. It slides under the hiking straps, stays snug against the tramp, creates a waterproof barrier and now I can go back to laying in the tramp. The up splashing merely massages my back and butt instead of soaking and chilling it.
For any of y'all that sail in colder water, I highly recommend it.
