 I don’t have to worry about the height of the back rest, I decided to make  a set that were adjustable, just below shoulder blades to the lower back, this way I can set them where I want…..up high or down low. There made out of   1 1/2" schedule 40 aluminum tubing & 1 1/2"schedule 40 alumminum elbows with a 6" radius, pinned them on the inside and welded them up. Still cost a few bucks but I got what I needed.
