Does anyone know if a wave can be used on a trailer for a 16? I'm looking at getting a wave that doesn't come with a trailer, but I have a trailer or my 16. It's kind of a long drive to look at the boat so I'd like to be sure before I go.

I use the same trailer, but take a couple 2 x 6s with you so the boat can line up with whatever cradle rollers you have on one side of the boat and use the wood for the other side as the boat is much more narrow than a 16.

Check to make sure you can loosen up the rollers on the trailer before you go (spraying with WD-40 may be necessary). You will have to slide them inboard to make the Wave fit. Bring the correct wrench with you to adjust the rollers and a tape measure and mallet. When you get there (assuming you buy the boat), measure the centerline spacing of the Wave hulls and then adjust your trailer rollers to the same spacing.

Yea, you could do that to I guess. I just cheat and make it work in like 2minutes and take off.
