I just bought a righting bag from Hobie and the instructions say to secure it to the dolphin striker, which I believe the Wave doesnt have. Is there another option to secure it, or does this not work with the Wave? I'm 150lb and probably could right it without the bag but I figured the bag would make it easier.

thanks

Joe

I'm 175 lbs and can right the boat no problem, even when turtled. Yes, the wave can go completely upside down. it only takes a few minutes at most to right the boat. I dont think you will need the bag.
Since there is no dolphin-striker I would tie it around the mast base or the cross bar near the mast. Maybe make a harness out of webbing around the crossbar and clip the bag to the harness with a carabiner.
