I purchased a used 2010 Wave in September and want to purchase a class compliant sail in preparation for racing in the spring. I found the following info in a Hobie Catalogue. What is the difference between "V" and "H"

38991000 SAIL, WAVE MAIN "V" WHITE
38991079 SAIL WAVE MAIN "V" MARTINQ
38991050 SAIL, WAVE MAIN "H" RESORT WHITE (I also found this in Blue)

Thank You in advance

"V" is Vertical Cut which is the original. "H" is horizontal panels like the H14-16-18. This was designed as a less expensive version primarily for Resorts. The "V" Cut would be class legal.
