Hello Everyone! I was wondering if anyone who is handy, and it seems many of you are, have a DIY tiller joint tendon solution. It seems like it is just a piece of tubing filled with something. If anyone has ideas please let me know. Thank you.

The tendon is two diameters of fiber reinforced tubing. One inside the other.

Do you have instructions on how to make it? Tube sizes and a compound so I can secure the screws? Apologies if it is a stupid request!

Reviving this topic. We just did this repair. We used black 7/8" OD x 5/8" ID hose, with a red 5/8" OD x 3/8" ID hose inserted for stiffness. I'm not sure how to share pictures, but here is a Google Doc link. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1x5OEKJY4k9WFXeOH741uOhvwbIcHWKlrDLmu3fZTUlk/edit?usp=sharing
