Hi all,

first of all I introduce myself. My name is Gianluigi and I live in Italy but unfortunately not close to the sea !
Two years ago I bought my first kayak only for saltwater fishing. I fishing since I was 5 years and now I discovered the kayak fishing and now I have the monkey on my shouders everytime.

Actually my kayak is an Hobie Outback but I would like to change it wiht one tandem: Oasis or Outfitter. In Italy they have the same cost.

Usually I fishing alone but I need alot of space and, with a tandem, I will be able to host friends and, why not, my wife - even if my wife does't like to wake-up too early in the morning .....

So I would like to have from someone of you suggestion based on your experience that is better than mine.

Many thanks to all of you for your help and I apoligize for my english not so correct.
Have a nice day.
Gianluigi

Go the new 2011 Oasis. It blurs the lines between the 2, but end of day will be faster, better carrying capacity, better storage, live well compatible, steering from both seats, positive buoyancy and a far better hull shape than the old oasis and outfitter combined.

I agree with yakass....

I have had two of the outfitters for about 3 years now and loved them....that is until I layed eyes on the new Oasis.....and daaaaauuuummmm that thing is sick. It addresses all the issues I had with the outfitter, mainly front storage, bait tank, hull slap and front stearing.

One of my outfitters is gonna have to go to make room for this bad boy!!!

I own 2007 Outfitter - but if I bought now I would go with new Oasis.
