Colors fading question

My Hobies are garage kept and right now looking at buying a 2015 Outback... so are there any colors I should stay away from? With all the backorders on the 2015's, colors are pretty limited in my area...The red /Hibiscus seems to fade the worst and eventually becomes pink... I had a yellow that was pretty old but held up well... what about the Blue? Not interested in the olive....

Golden Papaya and Ivory Dune colors get my vote for best choices.
Ivory doesn't really fade, since its not very heavy on pigment to begin with haha.
Papaya has the bonus (in my opinion) of being the best high-visibility color for offshore. Boaters in my area always seem to be oblivious of kayakers (regardless of safety flags) so the bright color is definitely a plus.

I use both Hobie's UV protectant P/N 70060001 and Aerospace 303 protectant on my golden papaya colored hulls.....these products equally, bring back the rich, original deep color after 6 months of sun exposure to the hull.
My local Ace Hardware store carries the Aerospace 303 item.
When not fishing, my PA14 is stored inside the garage.

Yep, I had a older, used yellow/papaya OB and not sure how much sun exposure it got before I got it... it still looked pretty good... I was leaning toward the yellow again but REAL hard to find a 2015 yellow... one dealer a couple of hours away has a blue... I ended up with an older red Revo wheeling and dealing, man, it's really faded.....just wondering if the color fade is more pronounced in some... I'd take the blue if the UV doesn't bother it and holds color as well as the yellow.

Red does fade quicker, but I would first clean the hull and then apply the UV protectant......I would guess some of the color will come back/improve.....It's only a $15 experiment!

Other than blaze orange, yellow is the easiest to find during an airborne search. I've had to look for white-hulled boats on the open ocean with whitecaps (from a helo) and it's basically impossible.

Of course if you are not going into the big blue this is less of a concern...but yes, out here the red hulls eventually become pink if not carefully maintained- although I have yet to meet a hobie owner who doesn't take excellent care of their boat, including storage in the shade when not in use.
