New PA17T owner here. There is a hole that is located at the center of the kayak with two rubber stops. Is this a mast step? Can somebody answer this mystery for me? Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing you are looking at the Lowrance ready through hull fittings?

Matt,

Thanks for your reply. What is the purpose of the rubber stops?

Thanks,

David

Wire through hull access points. There are adapters included with the boat for different wire diameter and counts.

Check the manual: http://static.hobiecat.com/digital_assets/89510-pro-angler-17-manual-141204.pdf
