I made a new mount for my Lowrance Elite 7Ti TotalScan transducer. I didn't want to just mount it on the bottom without some type of protection. I had some HDPE plastic laying around, so I used it. The leading edge is about 1/4" hight than the transducer should I bump something or when pulling up on shore.

Are you interested in selling one of these? I would be happy to pay through PayPal goods. Shipped to Texas.

Lizard - did you buy one, is that from your boat? Interested in hearing a review performance wise. That is the last thing holding me back from a 7 Ti.

They literally just came out. Check out their website. They just got done testing them and they seem to work great. They have pics from the 7ti side scanning. And the tunnel hull protects it as well. When its on flat ground, the cover/transducer doesn't touch

Almost ordered but $20 for shipping? I may see if I can find it somewhere else.

STL I wouldn't let that be the only thing that holds you back. I love my 7ti. I can find structures much easier than I could before. I am not a fan of the arm transducer mount but it isn't that big of a pain. My biggest complaint is that it slows me down and I sometimes get hung on brush, but so does my drive, paddle and rudder. I will call mariner tomorrow and see if I can get one from them. I'm not spending $20 on shipping even if I like the product. I'm already gonna be out $40 for the transducer arm if ACK won't take it back. It has been less than a month so I might get lucky.

Aside from the fact that IMHO the cover is way over priced, charging $20 to ship it must include Fed Ex next day delivery

I broke down and ordered one from Mariner sails. Not in stock yet but expected to be by 4th of July. I'm in no hurry. If any one orders they have a %10 coupon YakNTexas.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but the price that you see is in AUD. With the exchange rate, I think it just cost $61.22 USD including shipping. I ordered one, so I should get final confirmation in a few days on what it really cost me. Looks like a pretty good deal considering the cost of the transducer.
