you don't really need to use any of the gizmos to attach the transducer. i use a SS bolt, nylock nut and a couple of washers.
here's a list of Common transducers that fit.
HST-WSBL
200kHz, 83kHz

200kHz, 83kHz

200kHz, 83kHz
these are the most common. there are over 3 dozen transducer options, but most are not appropriate.
the one that seems to give Hobie guys the most trouble is the CHIRP, model "sylvester" and is a 200/50khz. its physically larger because it has 4 active elements instead of 2. it will fit, but modification has to be done to the attachment arm.
and of course LSS2, StructureScan won't fit. it's like 12" long.
this is the CHIRP that is the problem.
