When I picked out and rigged my PA at KFS I added a rear seat to it to take the kids out with me. Since they have been on my back to take them out on the yak from age 2, now at age 6 they can come along for the ride. The rear seat is removable, and adds a new dimension to diversity on the yak. Glad I added it, my kids are hooked for life. Here's a few pics of the new generation of Hobie owners...may be a few years; but the crystal ball sees a few more mirage drives in the driveway.MJ.

My son Michael's first kayak caught fish, he hooked it in less than a minute on the water. Something I surely cannot say for myself in this game. He was sad to toss it back since it was a short, but teaching him this is all part of the game. keepers were not to far behind, his smile tells the story.

Took my other boy out the next day, Mike's twin brother Jake. Here's a pic of his first kayak fish. Not caught in a minute, but he caught him all by himself jigging." Daddy, I think I got one"...now that's music to a parents ear. Passing on a tradition takes patience and sacrifice, Hobie made it easy. MJ.

Those are some really nice flatties but you are right. Nothing beats seeing a kid with a big ole grin and a fish in their hands.

They will remember these days forever.

Had my wife out today in the back of the PA fluke fishing. She LOVED it!!!! Asked me before we left if she could come out again fishing. Guess the planets are in alignment, never gambled on that. Was a hard day fishing with the wrong tides and full moon, but we had fun and quality time together. Was not an issue with the weight of an adult behind me. LOVE the PA more than words can say.
