Oasis fishing rigging...

I have a revo and love it. Bought an Oasis for the wife and kids to fish with me. I saw the prior post about McLean's Oasis rigging. I was wondering about the rear cargo area. It doesn't seem large enough for a milk crate to hold rod holders,etc. Any ideas? Also, McLean's site showed mounting of the RAM mounts to the upper part of the hull. My concern is a low profile base to aid in loading the yak upside on the car, etc. I was thinking of a Scotty flush mount either there or behind both seats. Any input greatly appreciated.
