 Post subject: Revo paddle holder

I just got a used Revo 13 and the bungie paddle holders on both sides of the kayak lost thier elasticity how do you replace them ?

You should be able to unscrew the black plastic fitting, that the shock cord comes out of a hole in the center using Hobie Tool #71115101 and then replace the shockcord.
Suggest using genuine Hobie shockcord as it's much better than the stuff available from the hardware store. Your Hobie dealer should have both of the items you need.

you can also try with a needle nose pliers that fits in the recess at the edges of the insert and turn it CCW to open it.
